Before We Begin
A few important things to know before starting your virtual design journey with Mint Decor.
Once you've completed the contact form, submitted your inspiration images, and paid the service fee, we'll schedule your 30-minute video call to kick off the process. From there, our design begins and we'll deliver your complete design packet upon completion.
To ensure the most personalized design possible, we'll ask you to provide:

Precise measurements using the template we'll email you
Your 30-minute video call is where the magic begins. We'll discuss what's working and what isn't in your current space, your vision for the finished room, your lifestyle and preferences, and any design deal-breakers. The more you share, the better we can bring your vision to life.
When selecting your budget in the contact form, please note that it reflects the cost of furnishings and materials only. Contractor fees, installation costs, and labor are not included—if your project requires contractor work, we'll discuss this separately during your call.
Finally, please allow 75 days from your video call for your completed design packet to be delivered. As each design receives our full attention and care, packets are final upon delivery and edits cannot be made once received.
What's Included
30-MINUTE VIDEO CALL
During this call get to know both you and the room you want to re-design. We will also ask for specifics of your room, such as precise measurements to work on your plan.
MATERIAL SELECTION GUIDE
As part of your overall design, you will receive a digital material selection guide. This would include flooring, paint, fabric, wood or any other samples necessary to execute the approved design.
FLOORPLAN
A 2D layout showing placement of furniture with precise measurements. The plan help with visualizing where furniture will go in the space, and give you an idea of how the space will function.
MOODBOARD
Here, you will see all materials selected as well as specific furnishings chosen in a side-by-side view to give you an accurate understanding of the overall design plan.
PRODUCT LINKS
A list of product links will be included with your virtual design packet. This takes the work out of searching for each item with easy to click options to execute your design efficiently.
3D SPACE PLAN
A 3D layout will be included using furnishings and materials chosen so you can visualize your space in a more realistic. This will also help at the time of set up as it eliminates errors when placing furniture.

We strive to make virtual design as seamless as it is exciting—delivering a personalized, detail-driven experience from your first call to your final packet.
Step 1
Book & Submit
Complete the contact form, pay the service fee, and submit your inspiration images. Once received, we will be in touch to schedule your 30-minute call.
Step 2
Your 30-Minute Call
We'll connect via video chat directly in your space. This is your opportunity to walk us through the room, share what you love, what isn't working, and what you'd like to achieve in your redesign.
Step 3
Share Your Vision
Following your call, we'll ask you to submit a brief list of must-haves and deal-breakers, along with a short description of what drew you to each inspiration image you submitted. The more detail you share, the more personalized your design will be.
Step 4
Document Your Space
Using the measurement template we'll email you, capture photos, videos, and precise measurements of your room. This ensures your floor plan and 3D rendering are as accurate as possible.
Step 5
Receive Your Design Packet
Sit back while we bring your vision to life. Upon completion, you'll receive your finalized design packet including a black-and-white 2D floor plan, a furnished 2D layout, a 3D virtual rendering, material selections, and product shopping links.
