The Chinoiserie Chic Bedroom of my Dreams

A Primary bedroom should always be special, and special this one was… truly. I designed this for myself and the unique thing about this room was that it always felt like it hugged me when I walked in. There was just such a warm feeling upon walking in. The elements I chose here were all so special and well chosen. My favorite part was the living room portion. The combination of the fabrics on the sofa, rug and wallpaper mural were just so spectacular for me to experience together on a day to day basis. Since I love pattern on pattern, I loved this portion of that room. Somehow it all worked so well together and this room felt elegant and slightly eclectic but in the best way. Having the balcony garden in the background and trees visible from all windows always made me feel like I was living in a treehouse (something I have always wanted). I feel so privileged to have been able to design such a space and enjoyed it for years.
