Living Room in Pastel Colors
Project Type
Interior Design
Location
Miami
This open concept living room is a beautiful study in softness, balance, and the quiet confidence of a well-executed pastel palette. From the moment you take it in, there is an immediate sense of calm and elegance that washes over the space in the most effortless way.
The furniture was deliberately floated in the middle of the room, a decision that was as practical as it was intentional. In an open concept layout, pushing everything against the walls can actually make a space feel smaller and less purposeful. By floating the arrangement, every corner of the room is used efficiently and the flow feels natural and considered from every angle.
The color story is where this space truly comes alive. Dusty pinks and grayish blues steal the show throughout, complemented beautifully by light greys and softer blues that keep the palette feeling cohesive and serene rather than busy. Together they create a dreamy, sophisticated atmosphere that is both cheerful and completely restful.
Woven throughout the furnishings and accessories are playful pops of different metals. Rose gold, silver, and yellow gold appear in just the right doses, catching the light and adding warmth and dimension without disrupting the soft, airy feeling of the space. Simple, clean lines tie everything together beautifully. The result is polished, peaceful, and quietly stunning.
