Arsty Pre-Teen Bedroom With a Chinoiserie Vibe

To design this space, I had a muralist friend of mine come paint the back wall in a traditional Chinoiserie style. In the desk nook of the room, I had her additionally paint a full underwater scene with my daughter’s favorite animals. The result was this eclectic and unique bedroom that spoke very personally to who she is as a person, her interests and the artsy vibe she so desired. The mix of colors and patterns, from the window valances to the rug are all global, boho-inspired, contributing to the particular artsy style of this bedroom. She loved this room so much and truly- the best part of design is how happy it makes the individual the space is designed for!
