Mural with Zodiac Signs and Stars on Ceiling

This magical ceiling mural was part of the Junior League of Miami's Design Showhouse in collaboration with the Deering Estate, and I genuinely mean it when I say this was one of the most unique and meaningful opportunities of my entire career. To be invited to design a room that would benefit both the museum and the Junior League? That's the kind of project you say yes to without hesitation and pour absolutely everything into.

And pour everything into it, I did. My vision for this small, intimate room was clear from the start — I wanted it to feel like a little jewelry box. Precious, enchanting, and completely unexpected. A space that made you stop the moment you walked through the door.

To bring that vision to life, I collaborated with my incredibly talented friend Georgeta Fondos of @muralsbygeorgeta. Together, we designed a breathtaking celestial and zodiac mural painted directly onto the ceiling. This is the kind of detail that transforms a room from beautiful to absolutely unforgettable. Looking up into that mural felt like gazing into another world entirely.

The result was a certified showstopper. Guests couldn't stop talking about it and honestly, neither could I. Some projects just stay with you forever, and this is absolutely one of them.
