An Art Studio for Kids of All Ages

Being a creative person myself and having 2 creative daughters- I can tell you that designing and setting up this kids’ art studio was so much fun! Of course, storage and function were at the forefront, but projects like these are unique in that you get to express creativity in a different form. I didn’t need to choose tons of furniture or wallpaper… just functional furniture for creative minds to come and experiment, have fun and be challenged. I left the center space open for group talks and events they regularly hosted and it was perfect for the flow of the space as well. Children could access their tables and art supplies easily while the teacher had the space necessary to give art direction and not feel cramped. It was a fun project to be a part of and I enjoyed designing it. Don’t we all wish for a creative space of our own?
