Studio & Separate Bedroom, Sonesta Hotel in Coconut Grove

This one bedroom rental came to me ready for a serious refresh, and that's exactly what it got. A complete makeover from top to bottom, with a design direction that was confident, eclectic, and anything but boring.

The bold dose of dark green was the anchor of it all. Green in a rental space might feel like a risk to some, but when it's done with intention, it creates a richness and depth that neutrals simply can't achieve. It sets a mood. It makes a statement. And in this space, it worked beautifully as the backdrop for everything else layered in around it.

And there was plenty to layer. Eclectic artwork and cool accents were brought in to give the space personality and edge. The kind of collected, curated feel that makes a rental stand out in a sea of safe, forgettable designs. Every piece was chosen to add to the story, not just fill a wall.

What pulls it all together is the neutral denim blue duvet cover creating a quiet, grounding moment in the midst of all that color and pattern. It balances the energy of the area rug and walls without dulling them, letting everything coexist harmoniously.
