Hello, Birdie! Gorgeous 1 Bedroom

Hello, Birdie was a project I tackled with so much love and honestly, it might be one of my favorites. I purchased two apartments to design and operate as Airbnbs, but let me be clear: not just any regular Airbnbs. From the very beginning, my standard for myself was the same as it would be for any client. No shortcuts, no cutting corners, no details spared. If anything, I held myself to an even higher bar.

For this apartment, the wallpaper was my jumping-off point as it so often is. I had found the most charming owl wallpaper and a bold blue flamingo wallpaper, and the moment I put them together in my mind, the concept clicked: Hello, Birdie! From there, I wove bird motifs throughout the space in different ways all tied together with cheery, vibrant colors that feel completely right for a waterfront condo in Florida.

The apartment itself is a small one bedroom, so every design decision had to be intentional. I added built-ins wherever possible to maximize storage, redesigned the kitchen layout to optimize every inch of space, and accessorized it so thoroughly that any guest could arrive and have absolutely everything they need.

It's cozy, it's curated, and it's just really, really fun.
